Sai Asian Hospital

Sai Asian Hospital

A 55 kW solar rooftop system installed at Sai Asian Hospital to ensure sustainable energy usage and reduce electricity expenditure in healthcare operations.

Project Goals

Sai Asian Hospital aimed to reduce its long-term energy costs while contributing to environmental sustainability. The goal was to secure a stable power source that supports 24/7 hospital operations with clean, renewable solar energy, ensuring patient care and services are not affected by power fluctuations or rising utility costs.

Project Capacity

55 kW

Electricity Produced Annually (kWh)

76,550 kWh

Offsetting

76.55 Tonnes

Savings Annually in Rs.

10,71,700 Rs

Challenge

• Non-Intrusive Installation Need: The hospital’s continuous power requirement and sensitive medical infrastructure demanded a non-intrusive installation strategy.

• Rooftop Accessibility Challenges: Limited accessible rooftop space due to HVAC systems and water tanks restricted panel layout flexibility.

• Optimized Urban Performance: Ensuring optimal energy yield in a partially shaded urban environment was critical for expected savings and performance.

Solution

• Off-Peak Installation Strategy: Installation was scheduled during off-peak hospital hours, with safety protocols to avoid disruption to staff and patients.

• Elevated Segmented Layout: We designed a segmented panel layout with elevated structures to navigate around rooftop equipment and maintain performance.

• Reliable Shaded Performance: Deployed high-efficiency monocrystalline panels and smart inverter technology to ensure reliable performance in low-light and partial-shade conditions.
